Since opening our doors in 1995, Sinopia has been known for instructional seminars on topics related to pigments and
traditional painting techniques. While we can no longer offer these seminars in our store, we have teamed up with the
Emerald Tablet, a Creativity Salon, located in the North Beach area of San Francisco. Please visit their website for
class schedule information.
These classes are taught by founder of Sinopia, Alex Warren. Alex Warren has been making
his own paints for over 20 years and has become an expert in the field pigments through his experience of running
Sinopia since 1995. Aside from the seminars offered at the Emerald Tablet, Alex Warren is also available for teaching
seminars to small groups outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. For further information and details, please contact
